I'm interrupting my normal schedule of posting because I just have to share this story. The Little Monkey just got Sudacrem everywhere--and I mean everywhere!
We put her down to bed at her normal time, and left her to her own devices. Usually she wanders around her room for a bit before putting herself back into bed. The results tonight were slightly our fault.
You see, the Little Monkey grabbed the Sudacrem from the top of her mini bookcase. It is usually placed out of reach on top of the changing table. We didn't realize, and I have no idea just how long she had hold of this cream.
All I know is that she had it for long enough to cover her whole face, hands, hair, own monkey stuffed toy, bed sheets and clothes with it.
The only reason I knew Monkey got Sudacrem everywhere was because of the noises she was making. Something must have been hurting because she started sobbing. I don't know what my face was like when I opened the door. the Dear Husband thought something really bad had happened because I screamed down for him to get her.
You know what we did first? Took a photo of Monkey. We had to--just to share it with her when she gets older. We want her to realize just how aptly nicknamed she has been.
I've got to say, it's hell trying to get the Sudacrem out though! We've washed her hair three times, with our own shampoo, and it's still stuck in there. Does anyone have any tips for getting it out? Any would be appreciated right now!
Unfortunately, we have really pushed her bedtime back. We had to put her stuffed monkey through the wash, but she won't go to sleep without him. As I type this, the stuffed monkey is drying, but Little Monkey is after him. Actually, she's just gotten a hold of him!
Oh well, it's going to be a fun night!
